Program Introduction to Early Buddhism: Teachings and Their Developments (coming soon)

Buddhism was founded by Sākyamuni Gotama, the Buddha, in the 6th century BCE in ancient India. As an enlightened person the Buddha propagated his teachings for 45 years. After his death, or Parinirvāna, his followers developed them both as a philosophy and religion.  Buddhism had its golden age in Asia due to the patronage of Asian kings and emperors. Today Buddhism is universally accepted as one of the spiritual and philosophical traditions followed by many millions of adherents.

The starting date of this course will be announced soon.
